Wrong Side Of The Tracks8:30PM
WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS Featuring Nefarius, Innamech and Sydney 4 piece Surrender the Sun.
FRIDAY 1st May 2015 at Hotel Gearin.
Wrong side of the tracks is a new, regular showcase of progressive rock, electronica and genre fusion music.
Nefarius has been melting dance floors for some time now, supporting some of the biggest names in underground dance music. He's known for his unique blend of world infused Bass music. He will kick off the night with a set of Temple-Step and will play a Glitch-Hop set at the end of the night to keep the dance floor moving into the early hours.
Innamech is a local two piece that play a blend of psychedelic rock and electronic beats. The band features Jimmi Carr and Sammy Psyborg. Their debut, self titled EP was released at the end of 2014 and has received significant airplay across the country on stations including Sydney's FBI and 4ZZZ in Brisbane. They have played a number of festivals and smaller venues in support of the EP and have quickly been making a name for themselves with their distinctive sound.
Surrender The Sun is a four piece band from Sydney. Their sound is heavy and riff driven, often blurring the line between progressive and psychedelic rock, complimented by a powerful female vocalist. With pulsing rhythms, precision riffing and thought provoking lyrics, Surrender the Sun are definitely a band to look out for.
$10 on the Door from 8pm.
